Throughout the past weeks we have heard from our community that amidst the many needs we are all trying to meet, mental and emotional well-being has been consistently pushed to the back burner. We believe that supporting each other’s mental and emotional well-being is an integral part of community care, and that story circles can be a powerful way of doing this. So we are facilitating a series of community care circles to bring together groups of 10 people to reflect on what is happening, share resources, and strategies for caring for ourselves and each other. All circles are donation based.

In each 2-hour circle we will:

    • Share stories about how we have been impacted by COVID-19.

    • Reflect on our shared experiences and identify key learnings that can inform how we care for ourselves and each other.

    • Participate in grounding practices to open and close the circle that you can incorporate into your daily life.

    • Share mutual aid resources, events, and projects.

    • Mental health professionals will be available to provide participants with additional support as needed during the circle and beyond.
