Paycheck Protection Program Loans: Starting April 10, 2020, independent contractors and self-employed individuals can apply for loans to cover their payroll and other certain expenses through existing SBA lenders. Funds are currently (as of April 16) depleted, and maybe be replenished soon. See here for more details and read this article on options for government relief.
